This user guide will provide you with the information you'll need to know to set up rules within your email client to organize your SignsearchPRO emails. If you're unsure of how to identify PRO buyer request emails, please click here for a user guide on the subject. The information in that article will also prove useful when setting up these new rules.
There are several email clients that you could use (Outlook, Gmail, Thunderbird, Windows Live Mail, Apple Mail, Android/iOS, etc.), so we won't be able to cover the specifics of setting up a new folder and creating a rule in each of these email clients. If you're unsure of how to perform a certain task within your specific email client, you'll need to reach out to them or their support guides to see how.
First, set up a folder named "SignsearchPRO" or a name that you will readily remember is for your SignsearchPRO emails. Here are user guides on how to accomplish this in some of the more popular email clients:
Then, set up a rule (or filter) so that any emails coming from either "email@example.com" or "firstname.lastname@example.org" go directly to your new folder (or label). You must add both because depending on your email client, the sending email address may read as "email@example.com; on behalf of; firstname.lastname@example.org". Here are user guides on how to accomplish creating a new rule (or filter) in some of the more popular email clients:
To ensure these emails are delivered to your desired folder, add the email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org addresses to your "safe senders" list. Here are user guides on how to setup "safe senders" in some of the more popular email clients:
- Outlook - Safe Senders
- Gmail - "Safe Senders" - You'll actually use filters again.
- Thunderbird - Safe Senders
After applying these simple steps, all SignsearchPRO emails you receive will appear in the folder or label you have the rules set up for.
