It's important to note that we require the awarding of projects in PRO because, if you don't, you're missing out on one of the most important features of PRO. That is, by awarding a job in PRO, you and your colleagues can easily identify sign contractors that have done work for you in a search result. We know you agree that this is important information to have at your fingertips... er, keyboard.
Awarding a job doesn't send any notifications to the sign contractor. It's for your own internal use, and only your users see the award notification (icon). You can then click on the contractor's profile and identify all of the projects they've done for you (which brings us back to why you need to use projects in PRO... see, this is all making sense now!).
Awarding a job also allows you to export the contractor details for use in your internal CRM or accounting software.
Oh, and we only bring this up because it's been asked before... no, we don't make any commissions, points, bonuses, perks, etc etc, on you awarding a job. This is your feature for you to use and benefit from.
