Below is the information you'll need to update your settings for hosting with another email provider. Click on a drop down below to learn more.
We will need to update the MX record for your domain. All that you will need to do is provide VCG with the incoming mail server address of your email host. This is NOT an IP address, it will be a url like "smtp.yourdomain.com" or "mail.youdomain.com". NOTE: You will have to make sure you give VCG the right incoming mail server information or the email transport will not work.
You need to contact your DNS provider (typically your "registrar" or "host") and tell them that you want to point your domain name to VCG's nameservers (IP address). Typically this involves pointing what is called an "A-record" to VCG's IP address. VCG's DNS server IP Address is: 126.96.36.199
Every registrar and/or DNS host is setup differently. Please contact your current provider before editing any DNS settings, as entering information incorrectly could prevent your domain from functioning properly.
It may take up to 2-48 hours for the changes to propagate through the Internet and you will be in business! Please note that we recommend that changes to DNS records be made on a Friday evening to allow for the propagation to occur over the weekend.
