The Online Design Tool supports cost per color calculations. By definition "cost per color" refers to the ability for the price associated with the number of colors used in production to increase as the number of colors increases. Please note, however, that VCG is not responsible for any errors resulting from miscalculation of the actual number of colors associated with artwork provided by the user, or from existing VCG provided templates.
You can set a price for each combination of colors used and quantity ordered for virtually any Design Your Own (DYO) product, however the pricing calculator "per color" requires accurate input data. Although the (DYO) tool uses a powerful "cost per color" calculator, and it asks the buyer how many colors are in any uploaded artwork, if the information provided by the buyer isn't accurate, the pricing calculator won't reflect the proper price. Please note, however, that VCG is not responsible for any errors resulting from miscalculation of the actual number of colors associated with artwork provided by the user, or from existing VCG provided templates.
Should an error in pricing occur, you have the right to reject the pricing presented. This disclaimer is outlined in the default Terms and Conditions of your site, as well as in the pop-up image acknowledgment form, which reads, in part: "Please review your artwork carefully. We reserve the right to reject any received orders for any reason, including insufficient image quality, with notice to you, the customer."
