The sending and receiving of your VCG hosted (Smartermail) email may be delayed due to Greylisting of accounts, or due to the number of SPAM filters that your mail must pass through before being delivered (including any virus/spam checks you are running on your local system).
All VCG hosted email accounts are setup with Greylisting enabled as a default as part of our mitigation efforts to combat spam.

In our ongoing battle against SPAM, VCG employs several layers of SPAM filtering, including the following the following checks:
- Cyren Premium Anti-Spam
- RBL SpamCop
- Domain Key
- Reverse DNS
