It's a well known fact that spammers may "scrape" or "scan" web pages for any email addresses. An email address that is displayed on a site will have a "mail to" tag associated with it so that a browser can identify it as an email address and will open your email client to send the email using the associated email address.
In our ongoing effort to battle spam, we do not display any email address on hosted client sites. Instead, we've elected to use a "contact form" and Captcha (to battle spam bots).
If you'd prefer to also display email addresses, you can simply use basic HTML in the Website Builder tool to add the "mail to" tag (and email address) anywhere on any page of your site. Let's say you wanted to add a sentence above the Contact Us form that might say something like:
To contact us, please send an email , or simply fill out the form below...
In this example, the "send an email" link utilizes the mailto tag that opens an email client that is "ready" to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
