You’re receiving this message in Google’s Webmaster Tools because Googlebot erroneously “thinks” that your site might have content hosted on https, and yet it can’t find an SSL certificate for your site. This alert in no way affects your site’s crawling, indexing or ranking.
Online store aside, your website does not require an SSL certificate and as such should never be browsed to as https://[your_domain]. An https url such as this will not resolve because no SSL certificate exists for your site as – again, store aside - it’s not required. You’ll notice however that once customers enter the “secure checkout” portion of your store or the “my account” section that at this time these portions of your site are in fact hosted on https and are protected by our own SSL certificate (you can see that in these sections of your store the url or address bar reflects this by changing to an appropriate version of https://[your_domain].vcgstores.com). This SSL certificate protection for these portions of your site is provided by VCG and is included in the cost of your store plan.
So in short, these messages from Google Webmaster Tools can be ignored and they in no way affect your site’s crawling, indexing or ranking.
